From the Forest of Dean, Vendetta Deluxe are an alt-rock 3 piece with a sprinkling of punk and a nod to grunge with songs of life in an ex-mining town, socially political themes and more intimate tales wrapped in slamming tunes with razor sharp guitars, gritty bass, thundering drums and tight harmonies.
Between them, Lar Hughes, Dave Oakley and Adam Daffurn have played gigs with the Stranglers, Mick Jones of the Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, The Automatic, Feeder, The Subways, The Jim Jones Revue, Hawkwind, Spear of Destiny, members of The Jam, Mott the Hoople and The Cardiacs, plus Radio 1 airplay and accolades from International press.
Vendetta Deluxe have been gigging extensively and their blistering live set has invited comparisons to Nirvana, Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, Therapy?, Green Day and Manic Street Preachers. The singles City of Trees, Kamikaze Eyes and April Fool were released to a great response with airplay in the UK and overseas and debut album The Drowning Sound is getting brilliant press revues around the world.
